a  Put the verbs in brackets in the past simple.

b  Complete the questions in the past simple.

Example: Where did you go last October?  →  We went to Lisbon.

Tip: in questions, use did + the base verb (Did you have…? Where did you stay?). With the verb be, use was / were and no did.
